A Workshop Devoted to Eight Decades of Mechanical Beauty

Heritage Slots has been restoring and supplying vintage one-armed bandits to United Kingdom collectors since 2011. Our workshop in the West Midlands specialises in Liberty Bell era cast iron, Mills Novelty cabinetry and the golden age of electromechanical Bally and Jennings engineering.

Every piece we sell has been dismantled, serviced, rewired where necessary and reassembled by a master technician with at least fifteen years' experience. We do not sell cosmetic restorations — every mechanism must spin, every payout must register, every coin acceptor must validate.

Delivery

Our specialist two-person crew delivers UK mainland directly to your room of choice, positions the machine, levels it and completes an on-site functional check.

Peace of Mind

Your signed Certificate of Restoration and 12-month workshop warranty arrive in the post one week after delivery. We're available by phone for the lifetime of the machine.

Questions from Our UK Collectors

Yes. Every machine in the Heritage Slots collection is sold as a fully restored decorative collectable. Each piece is factory-set so the reels spin and the payout mechanism registers correctly, but the coin acceptor will not accept real currency and there is no monetary return. They are designed to be admired and demonstrated, not played for value.

Yes. Free delivery is included for all UK mainland postcodes. Scotland (mainland and islands), Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands are quoted individually via the enquiry form — typically £180–£480 depending on access and distance from our workshop.

You can pay directly via PayPal from any device, anywhere in the world. Alternatively, use the secure enquiry form and we'll send a ProForma invoice with BACS (UK Faster Payment), international wire, or card payment via Stripe. We accept payment in GBP, EUR and USD.

Every pre-1960 machine is fully re-wired to BS 7671 by a NICEIC-registered electrician. Each machine arrives with an RCD-protected UK plug, a PAT test certificate dated within seven days of delivery, and a fused spur recommendation if you'd like a permanent installation.

Absolutely. Our workshop near Solihull is open by appointment every Saturday from 10:00 to 16:00. Use the enquiry form and select "Workshop viewing" — we can have any of our eight machines powered up, demonstrated and ready to inspect. Refreshments are always on.

All mechanical components (reel assemblies, gears, leaf switches, payout escalator) and all electrical components (transformer, fuse board, wiring, lighting) are covered against failure for twelve months from delivery. Cosmetic wear, cabinet finish, and glass are not covered — these are original pieces and develop character with age.
